911 it would indeed be a killer app (leaving aside the small question of its 'legality') I'm sure there is plenty of room for extra features too - select a T-shirt and put your own design/motto ('<--- I'm with stoopid', 'Gary Coleman roolz', etc.) or change the colour of those trousers/that hair. I haven't used PHP's GD library but you should be able to combine PHP's image manipulation capabilities with a JavaScript front end to produce some interesting results.

911 I'm not sure what you mean as it would require quite a bit of fancy coding as well as graphics. Anyway I might start a new thread in this forum as we are wandering away from the topic of this thread.

911 - the full custom package is pretty impressive. I signed up to see what the range of goodies on offer was but their editor is currently unavailable (pity), It is also clear how useful the tool is for building an online community.

I belive your transparency problem is with the bluring, it now has many different white background colors...

No duh really? Got a solution for that problem?

Focus:
You could just start out with the average Bgcolor (I use 280404) of the forum as background of your pic and then blur it.
Mind you, it's always a bit tricky to get those fadeouts/blurs to be real good, but play with it and you might get there.

Oh, I'm sure he didn't intend to be rude. He was just sort of being sarcastic in a funny way - the important thing to notice is the smiling slime after his comment.

Focus: you gotta start with the correct background color *before* you blur it. That way it will fade into the correct color, and you can just cut off the solid dark red parts in the final gif image w/ transparency.

Focus, you shouldn't blur your picture at all if you want to be added to the yearbook (it would be hard to edit the blurred image so that it can fit with the rest of the yearbook image)...

Focus, what if you blur just the face or just the eye and area inside the glasses?
Just an idea

If you blur it and save it as a .png, making sure it saves the transparency correctly, then it should be useable.

Hah! wimp. I used to go to a forum where one particular thread was over 600 posts long. And they were long posts, too, really long ones. You would click on the thread, and go get something to eat, and go to the bathroom, and come back five minutes later to see it finish loading. It was great. We were so proud of ourselves for making such a long, content rich thread. =)
