axe: Welcome. I'm not sure if you mean online or offline. If you just mean in a HTML editor then a number will allow you to find and replace things and pos. across numerous pages. If that is what you want we could probably throw in a few names. If you want to do this to an online webpage you'll need server side scripting. |

You can do that using MicroSoft Development Studio. (Probably not the answer you want to hear) |

If your files are located locally, you can use Extended Find & Replace feature of MAX's HTML Beauty++ ME to do that... |

If you use HomeSite's built-in FTP engine to access your online file system, you can find and replace across your entire live site. That's too dangerous for me, though... I wouldn't risk that if my deadline was two seconds from now. I recently did a global find and replace to change "id" to "class" on some local documents, but I checked the wrong boxes, and changed "visibility: hidden" to "visibility: hclassden"... and a bunch of "width" to "wclassdth"... scary scary stuff. |
