Hey, I know I post these alot, but I never have been and never will be a good judge of my own graphics. I know what I like, but I need to know what other people think. Doc, this is the next version of that interface that you were waiting for. I looks completly different, but it is for the same site, Ride The Wave, which I will be posting as soon as it is done. So here is my latest interface.

BTW: to the last person to comment on my latest interface that I posted, the one of the shperes and 5 buttons in a menu bar style, you said that it did not look linear(BTW: it is at the end of this message), well, have a lok at the tutes at Eyeball Design and you will see an interface there that looks suprisingly like mine.

Cya!

/_-=SKAARJJ=-_\

Skaarjj ive always liked the control panel look...a lot of my web designs are based on that concept........im in the same thinking as Doc OZ....you should be able to feel what your looking at not just see it.......keep up the good work......the more you do the tighter your designs will get..remember its not what others think its what you think.........desire and time will bring out your best and that will be the gift to others.................keep it up.....DocCyber

Defensive is goooood............Muhahahahahaha!
I too am my own worst enemy when it comes to my own graphics.
Staring at the same interface hour after hour, you tend to see the flaws and not the overall picture, it's frustrating trying to perfect your technique, try not to set your goals too high, you'll get there......
one thing that really did my head in was making all the pieces blend together, ie , making the buttons a part of the interface and not "floating" out of the picture. if you haven't already......check out this guy and have a go at his interface NUI designs tutorials, like the doc he's zipped it all up for convenient download.
His technique is pretty cool, he uses stroke and blur to attach his shapes together, you'll learn heaps

How long you been doing this stuff?

How long have I been doing this? Photoshop has been on and off for about four years, but web graphics, that has only been for about 6 months. I started off doing flawed work with eye candy, but i had the horrors of that pointed out to me by a friend in no uncertain terms.
/_-=SKAARJJ=-_\

Nice going Skaarjj! Nice feel and depth to it. One thing I've learned is that we're usually our own worst critic, and second, and probably most important of all is that we'll never get it perfect eh? Those subtle flaws and seeming imperfections is what gives art and graphics character imho.
Good job...let me know when you've got it posted!

Yes, I also like the new controls -- very rich feel to them and very clear layout.
my earlier comments about the bar/ball interface were not meant to be in any way derisive -- however, if opinions are asked for, they *will* be given.

This has been another episode of "My 2 Cents" with your host, DL-44

BTW: here is the title picture from that site.

Where do you think would be the best free server to post my site?
Suggestion to DocOzone...If you own the server that your page is posted on, you should allow people to post their photoshop pages in sub-directories of sub-domains.
