![]() Well... I know some people who use coral draw and do amazing things with it. I haven't used it, the graphics I have seen are comprable. |

![]() I worked with Corel Draw/Photopaint, and I must say you can do some neat tricks with it but when it comes to preformance and stability it is way behind Photoshop. But I must admit that Draw is a bit better than Illustrator, but the problem is that Corel Draw/Photopaint is not really supported on the Mac, so many people won't see it's true strength. Over all Photoshop is very hard to beat but Draw/photopaint might be a good and cheaper alternative |

![]() I think WarMage nailed one of the earlier large pros of PS over Photopaint, the Lighting Effects Filter. That one filter factors in almost any and every interface design, as well as realistic texturing. |
