There are some dark smudges that just don't seem to look like they belong there... one at the bottom tail end of the S that goes all the way to the left side and another just under the right leg of the big X. There's also a white dot on the right edge of the 1 that looks out of place. The flare thing looks cool, but I don't understand why it's there. Also, I get the vague impression that the X and 15 are supposed to look closer to you than the other letters... you might try darkening the other letters up a bit to increase that effect.

Oh, one last thing, I just caught. You've got SE a giant X and then tion. tion is supposed to be part of the same word, right? Well it's not capitalized like the other letters... that looks weird. I know it's supposed to be "SEX" and "tion"... but the X already looks like it didn't belong there because it's so large, so instead you've got "SE" "X" "tion" and it's just... strange. My opinion anyway.

Perhaps this is a nit-picky thing to say, but there is a white outline around the entirity of the thing....grainy and one pixel wide. I guess I'd get rid of that, but it's just me.

He'oh!!!!! I just noticed that! I forgot to cap tion! And I don't seen any outline of anything...and odds are dark smudges are the lighting effect thing...I think it should've been a bit wider.

oh...and I am very interested in the method of creation of that eye...
(DAH! DAH! DAH! The mad post editor strikes again!)
is it T-shirt worthy? if I cap the TION?

Ah the eye...

Well, it's several layers... quite a bit of it hand drawn. I made an oval selection and filled it with light light grey. I created a blue circle on another layer and gave it a radial gradiant of medium blue to dark blue. Put another smaller black circle in the center of it on another layer... then a small white circle a little offset from the center on a layer over THAT and blur it a bit.

Now, I've studied eyes a lot in sketching and drawing and painting and such... I darkened the top and corners of the light grey behind-the-iris section with a spraypaint, darkening it more near the corners.

For the bulge effect from the skin, I made a layer of grey and made it soft light, then sprayed it darker near the under edge of the eye a bit up the upper edge. Then I sprayed it a light grey at the top edge of the eye and just under where I sprayed it dark at the bottom edge. That's really about it. Remind me and I'll cut the layers out of my psd file and put them in a small basic psd for people to take a look at. Now if I could just replicate HAIR.

btw.. here's a larger older version of the image... I never messed with the eye.. just the blood and nail... you can get a better look at it with this.
