ok, I did DG's splash tut. I know what water is supposed to look like, but what should blood look like??? how do i do it?

thats cool Carlton.. not sure if I would say blood exactly but cool nonethe less... I saw eyezaers bloo done earlier and it was good too.. but the link is busted now it seems?.. oh well.

I use curves usually to do my blood.

Well yes it looks cartoony, but real blood is less interesting... sorta like this:



So I don't like making it look like that. As for the glassy looking text... um, I'll put something up about it when I can. It's real simple, and you'll probably kick yourself once you see... it involves the glass filter and channels and such, heh.

eyeblazer, that blood you made really looks bad. add some dried blood to the knife, and make the other blood more liquidy and a little transparent. maybe thrown in some pools of blood around the knife and not as much splatter junk.

one question, how to make dried blood? lovely eh?

mmmmm... crusty dried blood... i really think that ya should get back into your fire web page, and start burning more things, it has got to be much more healthy than this nasty blood thing...
