Preserved Topic: I need an oyster with a pearl (Page 1 of 1)

I am using this graphic for the PERL/CGI section of the gurus network:



I was wondering if anyone would be able to do a oyster with its mouth open and a nice pearl in its mouth, so that it will fit into that banner.

The banner size is fixed and can not be modified.

If anyone can help me out with that, mad props to you.

I will this afternoon warmage. I got some stuff at work that may work out nicely.

you probably dont want me to do anything cuz it would most likely turn into an oyster flambeau...

I found this really good photo of a pearl in an oyster shell.

Maybe it's just me, but the original image and the one that Nevex put up look strangely identical in most ways except location of text and objects. Hrm.

I would guess that they are two different but nearly identical images. But that is only my guess.

The first image didnt have the pearl in the beginning, it was just gray, he must have updated it and reuploaded it.

He didnt ask for a remake he asked for a pearl.

lol, his first one just loaded. What he did was take mine and rearrange it. When his was first put up it was just the letters.

Seems to me if your going to have a picture of a pe(a)rl on the left you should have a picture of a cgi on the right.

And yes I did change it around a bit.

That shadow on the pe(a)rl was a bit off, so I moved it around so to hide the cut off of the shadow.

how about the IE image not found graphic? the white square with a red X?

I got an idea, let me bang it out real quick and post it on 30mins or so.

Ok here it is. Its not much but its something.

Eh, I think the pearl and eye are overdoing it; people will get sick of the puns real fast. How about just the text?

Lol, that's the way it actually started when Warmage posted it. I did the pearl then the suggestion was made to do something for CGI part. I just tossed the CG and the eye on real fast to see what it looked like, then I just posted it up here so Warmage can decide if the added feature is really needed.

I was just kidding about the CGI, although, I like your interpretation Nevex.

I do agree that for a serious logo it is probably over kill to have both the oyster and the CG-eye
