![]() PS5 and PS5.5 have the same sort of problem with Win2k. the way to resolve the net connection is to make a shortcut on your desktop that runs "ipconfig /renew" and run that shortcut after closing Photoshop. as far as i know, there are no fixes. pisses me off. |

![]() WinAmp might have trouble with win2k, but I'd bet that Photoshop's problem is making it even worse. Thanks for the hint on the ipconfig thing, because up to now, my only solution was to reduce the memory usage of Photoshop from 75% to 45% of the system's total (256 MB). Maybe I'll just make it load WITH photoshop and perform it on a timed loop. |

![]() Hmm, that's odd, my PS6 and Win2K don't do that. Of course it does blue screen all the time, but I think that it's a hardware thing (win2K can't be too compatible with a Pentium 166 now can it). |

![]() The problem with win 2k is a memory leak. Your system resources fill up (if you want an explanation, tell me so, otherwise, take my word) and thingswill get real slow. The only way to resolve it (temporarily) is to reboot. |
