Preserved Topic: Ctrl + Shift + I (Page 1 of 1)

I have noticed that when I have Photoshop and ICQ running concurrently and I try to Invert my selections using the kybd shortcut of Ctrl+Shift+I that it brings ICQ to the foreground. If I shut off ICQ that command works flawlessly in Photoshop. I know it's not a flaw on one machine because I have Three machines (pc) that all behave the same way.

Anyone else notice this?

Have you tried disabling the short-cut keys for ICQ? I'm assuming that there is a way to do that.

Yeah, that happened to me too. If you go into the ICQ preferences you can shut off the keyboard shortcuts for ICQ so that won't happen for ya.

Yup, just found it. Its in Preferences > Contact List > Shortcuts.

Thanks guys....I've been to focused on my Photoshop work to even entertain the idea that I might be able to shut off the kybd shortcuts in ICQ

Well, it F**k me up everytime i inverse selection, i thanks to all of you for making my days easyer....

Curse ICQ. Thats the SOLE reason I never use it. Funny part was when I first started using the two together, I think it took a good 15 minutes before I realize everytime I pressed those keys that ICQ popped up. I thought I was going nuts.

Yeah Jestah that's exactly why I posed the question.....my meds ran out and I could feel the bugs crawling all over my skin again
