like draw them and stuff...., basically draw a jagged darker area, make the top edge dark/bottom edge light, then around the outside, airbrush the top lighter and the bottom darker to give it some depth... |

No more than 5 minutes...the secret to using your mouse is just to zoom in like crazy (control++ is the shortcut to zoom in). |

The lighter top part with the airbrush is white, set to screen at a very low opacity. The darker part is black set to multiply at really low opacity. |

Yea...what dl44 said. Another thing that might help is to load the transparency of the crack as a selection. Select Inverse, and then do you outside airbrushing, that way, you can go right to the edge. |

i believe that the main difference is that the areas you spray with the spraycan get darker the longer you hold it there.... |

That looks more like a piece of metal getting fucked with, metal is super elastic and will deform easily(hrm, most metal, unless its been hardened or is iron). |
