halo well this is the scenario, good buddy of mine asked me to do something cool with his name " big peter snot" he is in APW ( wrrestling) i was thinking some kinda varrying running snot effect but i am no pro at photoshop i am still trying to learn more to figure out if it is even worth the money to me to get a newer version well les see what ya guys come up with, any suggestion ideas etc well all be welcomed and thanked for and no if ya post a pic i am not going to just rip it i wanna learn how to do it myself... but a few pics or what not to see what can be done would be very helpfull thanks in advance

well when anyone askes how to make glass or ice or wood or metal or water or.... i tell them to go take a BUNCH of pictures of them and study them..... if you can make the thing in real life then try to copy it in PS... That is if you want a realistic look. IF. i REALLY doubt you would want to do that here.... so um..... i have never done snot b4. I dont really want to ya know?

The closest thing I can think of to snot would be to do the text as a pool of water and then tint it green and yellow. Look at gurusnetwork and find the water tutorial and then go from there.

this the direction you want to go ? Kinda cartoony-ish ?

If so, let me know and I`ll step by step it or post the psd, or both.

just checking i well have to check out GN like ya guys recomended it seems that GN seems to be the best place i have found especialy since ya guys are always sending ppl there, and docilebob thnx for putting the effort itnto reating something but it didn't show up on my comp why so? something i need to do or something wasn't done correctly? i am very intrested to see what ya were able to come up with and the other guys that said ewww %^] ya have all done some outlandish things for your good freinds from time to time i am sure and this isn't to far off the deepend depnding on how well " gut wrenching" it comes out and i am hopeing to be ale to regularly post so ya guys may wnana get use to me unfourtumnetly it well be with more questions and such until i get more established in this program but that is how it is.... anyways thnx for the resonses ppl much appreciated blah blah blah blah blah blah.....
