Well, xdreamer, I've got the german PS6, so I know the problem that you are having (esp. with the layer effects). Hmm, I'm just wondering if there is a big demand for such information. Maybe I should put that in my site...by the way, if you are looking for tut's in german, I've got a few. http://www.nullinterrupt.de If you were to give me a list of words, filters, etc that you need 'translated', I could help you out. Send me an email. |

Well Xdreamer, apparently everybody is either ignoring you or...they can't find such techniques. I couln't find any techniques exactly like that in your post, but maybe the tuts from GN could help you futher. The tut on Displace and Polar coordinates, maybe? Sorry I couldn't help you further. Anybody else? Where are you guys? *wanders suddenly empty halls, echoes in the corridor of times past...* |

Not sure what part you`re having problems with ( I`m a little dense sometimes) Is it with the language in the tut ? |

Well bob, babelfish is nice, but it apparently doesn't understand photoshop. When I give 'screen' in, it comes back with the german word for 'monitor', which although correct, is not what I wanted (being that I wanted the german name for the layer effect 'screen') And If you think it's just a small problem, actually, it's bigger. I can do the tuts in english, but sometimes it's almost impossible to figure out just what to do because of the language differences. Would be easier if the words had at least something to do with one another, but sometimes...it's hell. And that's becuase I work with a german edition of PS. |

Xdreamer, someone answered this in a different forum, perhaps sigs. I think it was one of our female members, and I thought the answer was screen = Negativ Multiplierzen (sorry in advance for spelling errors). I'll see If I can't track down the post. |
