I dirtied the surface up a little. Added just a little lightening directly under it and a little highlight focused on the marble. What do you think? |

Both are nice. it may just be my tired old eyes, but it seems the dark is too deep. I mean it should be arced more towards the top curve to keep it from looking flat. |

Nice, Steve. You made it better. Docilebob, I am not so sure it needs to be that round. Look at a real glass ball, the reflections aren't always so rounded. The world is not perfect as we know it. Thanks for playing with my balls though, it tickles! |

Ya know krets, sometimes my browser goes all screwy on me, and I only see the old posts, so I post, and then these other posts pop up, and then I feel stupid, *Oh, you can call me Ray, you can call me Jay, but don't call me Dejay...* |

rotren: The only suggestion I could add is to try makeing the edges of the ball more clear. If you want it too look like glass you'll have to make the edges extra sharp and clean. Another thing detracting form the reality may be the notes in the image, they just don't look real, nor does the marble look like real marble. Just some thought though... Nice work BTW. |
