Preserved Topic: HowTo: Lighting effects on Alpha Channel (Page 1 of 1)

Hello,

I have tried to follow this tutorial [ http://www.stridingstudio.com/tutorials/gchrome.html ] but am stuck. I'm stuck where you are suppost to apply the lighting effects. With my Alpha layer selected, the lighting effects is greyed out....
Where did I go wrong?

Click on your layer that you're applying the affect to, not the alpha channel.
