Tell us what you need out of the book, and we could better suggest one especially for you. |

well the WOW series was cool, not great for an overall approach but informative...down and dirty is a waste...inside is good overall but you'll only get out of it what you put into it, meaning don't expect to become good at photoshop from a book. i've got six or seven photoshop books, all pretty good but i've learned most from just trying it, trying to recreate, and asking people specific questions. |

if your looking simply for 'effects' for the web.. I would save your money and just use the web as a resource. There are a ton of websites out there , that are predominantly providing for free the same tutorials for web graphics that you will pay for by buying a book. |
