OK...Maybe I am stupid. A friend has PS 6.01 and I have PS 5.5 I am trying to tell him how to do something on ps and you need to use an alpha channel. When I make mine they always start out black. When he does it they come out white. Where is the setting to automatically change the channels so when you make them they start out black. |

Yeah he is in the channels pallete. The way he is doing it he clicks on the arrow at the top of the pallete and selects new channels. But it also does it when he just clicks on the new channel button. In my ver 5.5 it doesnt do it. Odd. |

God I hope not..........If so they are catching. When I get home I am going to have to look at my version of 6. I think I am going to tell him to reinstall PS. |

Maybe he got "selected areas" check, instead of "masked areas". |

Ahh.....this does the same thing on my ver 6.0. I will have to tell him. Thanks 1573. That SEEMS at this time to have figured it out |
