Preserved Topic: locked gif (Page 1 of 1)

A quick question I hope,

I made somegifs from and illustrator file, but when I open them in PS, they come in as a locked index layer and I can do nothing to change this state. In the past I has a few things that would get saved as a background, but I could get by this by copying to a new layer or whatever. with this however, all of the tools are disabled, I cannot copy it, and I cannot seem to find a "switch" for it anywhere. any help is great.

You need to go into the Image menu at the top to Mode and change the mode to RGB.
