I have always wanted to design a cartoon type character, but have difficulty when it comes tot he detail of things, for instance, dcreases in clothing, how do you decide where to put them and how do you go about creating that effect ? Can anyone offer some advice please ? |

Put some clothes on and look in the mirror. |

cartoon characters tend to lack in great detail , and as such a lot of creases tend to be created at the joints of the body, that is, the elbows, hips, knees, shoulders. They seem to used to indicate material to me. |
