![]() Karl most of that info at http://www.iconfactory.com/ is not for the mac and even if they are you could easily use your know how and make them windows icons. |

![]() I'm not a fan of pixel by pixel manipulation... I'm not sure what my choices are in the matter. I'm assuming this: draw things really small in photoshop, then copy / paste into an app that will save it appropriately as an ICO file. |

![]() Sure, karl, the only problem is you'll have to do this several times. A single ico file holds images for different desktop resolutions. So you could have a 16-bit color 64x64 image, an 8 bit color 32x32 image and a 256 color 16x16 image. Axialis ax-icons (sorry, don't have the link right now but do a search on google for it) can help you create the ico file and even makes it easy to switch between resolutions. Their bitmap editor is no photoshop, but it's good enough for making pixel images. |
