| Bipolar (III) Inmate From: Dallas, TX |  posted 11-01-2002 23:59 Playing with this I've found that you can get an even cooler sphere by running a radial blur on your original sphere layer (after this tutorial) a few times, then making a new lensflare layer without any other fx (placing it on a layer set to screen mode) and radially blurring that as well. It gives it a smooth pre-rendered look thats one step beyond the standard sphere. Also, if you want a bright hotspot you can duplicate the whole thing to a new layer and set it to color dodge mode for that extra intensity. |
