After i made my last sig... i just had to finish him.
But he does not look totally evil yet. someting about the eyes maybe? or his nose is to round... I dont know.

I need more eyes. Any comments would be greatly appreciated a lot.

 OLDIE HERE!

[edit] hmm... I want the mouth to be the focal point of the image. Also the hair sucks. any ideas on making it better?

In the words of you, "sweetish".
About the hair - try to use bigger brushes to block in the light and dark areas, and then take smaller brushes and add the details. Textured brushes work well (with dotty bits)

Awesome work, Izz.On the eyes, they look...happy.
Evil eyes have more angular/ sloped brows and more bloodshot stuff (instead of blue). Might try picking up the outside end of the brow and making it straighter...Maybe add some stress lines to the forehead.
The upper lip edges are a bit sharp, but the teeth rock.

I`m lovin this new painting thing of yours.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention (reminded thanks to db):? The upper lip is almost non-existant. Try making that smile in a mirror and seeing what it looks like (difficult for me to explain)
? The eyes should be opened more, and depending on the look you want, the eyebrows should be angled (to make him look angry) or left as is (to make him look psycho).
? Not really anything technically wrong with the image, but you may want to go with a "sharper" light source, so the shadows are darker and the light parts of his face really sticks out. Just a thought.

I'm surprised more people aren't commenting on this. Seems the Asylum has been a little slow this past week.

tidy stuff, sir izzalot. (sorry, just played the archery game! ) 1) make him frown
 2) when i think evil, i think a few little bloodshot-style lines in the eyes...
 3) facial hair is thicker than head hair. or in this case, your head hair should be a little finer, IMHO.
 4) i'm very impressed.

you may be too young to know this guy
   but there's similarities...

I like it, lots. I'd work on the nose, teeth and lips. The nose around the bridge is sharp along the sides. The teeth are pretty cool but if you look at them close there's edges there, some sharp ones that should be duller, mebbe less vibrant. Lips, like Bob said, are sharp.

Awesome painting though. you rock. You shaved cha-ka.

First thing that springs to mind is that he would be a whole lot scarier looking if he was looking straight at me.At the moment, I get the impression that he was distracted by someone, just as the shutter opened.

The main thing that grabbed me on first glance had to do with the hair. It looks a bit like clay to me. It's a great start, it's just, I don't know, kind of surreal? I like it, but it's not meshing with the rest to me. It also needs to cast a bit of shadow on the face to bring it together, like over his left eye. That eye is bright and so is the cheek, but there's an awful lot of thick hair hanging over it. Maybe that'll help. The area on the left forehead that has that dark shadow is well done I think. But yeah, work on those shadows and I think that'll help a lot. And you could recycle some horns that I somehow remember you putting on something else. That'd be evil. And maybe some old frown lines on the forehead...Good work.

      one more thing...
I wanted the focal point to be the teeth... but when i look at it, my eye goes right for his eye.

 How does your eye react????

man! that's extremely good! it's really deep, you could probably halve the size and it'd look photorealish. The upper lip is still very sharp and the middle of the face is very much like the texture of a polished pumpkin instead of skin. the whiskers and some of then hair hair are noticeably lines due to the little crooks on the ends, straighten the end of the strokes out.
that's a lot of yada on 'fixes' but it's awesome! the hair is great, great depth to the hair, the colors do that, the lighting, the colors, very nice.

 focal point: jack-o-grin

Seriously sweetish, Izz. Evil twin ?
I think , maybe, if you dull down the shine on the forehead, it won`t draw your eye so soon. The hair seems to be almost lit from below, and the shine on the forehead competes with it and draws your eye to the center where there all that blue in the eye. So try darkening the forehead, the blue in the eye, and lighten the mouth area a bit to bring it forward. ( not depth-wise, but perception-wise)

At least , to me, it seems my eye follows light ( contrast ) first, then shapes, then detail. If the mouth area was lighter, my eye would go there, first.

Nice job on the nose. The new brow shape and forehead wrinkles helped alot. Nice work, man.

please notice the nose. i didnt use any textured brushes when i did it... and i also did it quickly. But i think the textured brushes would keep it from being so smooth and loveable. yeah.

 heheh.
