I couldn't find my original post (it has been nearly a year ago) but I asked everyones opinion on the best way to bend a gfx of a road (for a game I was making) and promised to post my results when I was done. Well we're finally done with it and I thought I would show it off! Being this is the first thing I've ever had the guts to show here (with all the outrageous talent) you could go easy on me hehe |

I didn't see your original post (I have only been here for a couple of weeks) but that looks awesome Did you did all of it yourself? Or did a few people kinda split up the work? |

Somewhere in the back of my brain I do recall that thread. Seems you have done exceptionally well during tht year of toiling. It's now you turn to show us how you did it. =) And if it's a functioning game...where can we try it? Again... *very* well done. |

Yeah, I remember that thread. I know we tried several things with the displace filter but never came up with anything satisfying. |

I like pinball, but I'm thoroughly disillusioned with computer versions... so before I try any of the Visual Pinball stuff, tell me one thing: |

PT, what can I say? you'll have to try it and see if it's for you Visual Pinball is like EAs old (very old) Pinball Construction Set, a very advanced form of it though. There were those that loved it and those that hated it even then. Some people get into VP just to play games, others get into it because it great fun building a table. |
