Thats Right Folks!

What?

Been talking to a bored and thats what we came up with... color... palletes...

This is speed painting. This week we will be doing a study in COLOR. Lets see colors that work together. Make some pallets like... a Sky pallet... or a metal pallet. Colors you would use to paint skin... the colors you would use for *insert someting here*. If you really want to ya could paint something with your pallete, but I think that is in next weeks lesson.

You know the deal.

If you really need to know what the rules are go find them in some other speed painting thread. They may not apply though. heh.

edit: ooh yah Michael. Me likes that. Green is good... would be a very *hot* gold me thinks.

Was tryin' to produce something that'd be fitting for a crown of some sort. Goldish type head-piece.
Not too happy 'bout it... some of it works well I think... but the straight up yellow that's in there is just "ugh"...
Anyway:



Much harder than I anticipated.

edit: In hind-sight, something that I should have gone more prominent with is some red tones.... and some green too.

Okay... just a quick update (even tho we don't normally update speed paintin' stuffs)...



Much more comfortable with this.... but it still sucks.
I wish I had some blues in there now tho.
I've circled some spot areas where I could definately see myself pullin' colours from.

OH, here is what i used my pallett deal for... it worked out great.

and heres a metal pallett... I cheated and pulled colors off of some blue tinted metal objects. doodled around... was suprised at the results... anywhoo...

That ^^^ will make metal. Honest.
