so, i dont know anything about masks and quick mask and stuff, and im constantly coming across tutorials I can't finish because they start assuming i know how to work the masks. More specificly, i come across that when I'm trying to learn how to make 3D junk, like buttons and the like.

someone fix me...

no one can "fix" you, you must "fix" yourself. Go to http://www.handson.nu/ and do all the tutorials. Save the glass one for last-ish. It is a little bit harder, but yah, it uses masks. Most all of them do. Also anthing that has to do with an Alpha channel is imperative to learn.

Go to the PS help files and look up masks, masking, quick masking....

Do searches on google.com for masking tutorials. Read them and follow them strickly.
