So yeah...the first promotional pieces are out for the comic. I'll possibly post more soon, but a little sight is slight and fun (I hope).

Hey, good to see you around again man.

That first one looks good. The face and the date are great. Something about the text for Halloween though just doesn't grab me. It's almost too bright and cheery. To me it really sticks out and my eyes keep wanting to go back to it but not in a good way. Something a little darker would appeal to me a bit me.

I like the second one, it's a bit darker, more what I'd expect a comic on the subject to be like.

Couldn't be happier for you - regardless how much you bitch and moan about being too busy, I know you love it all.

I am obligated to say, however, that the painting work in that 2nd promo - while a good example of "behind the scenes" - is not really up to par on the Promo level. =)

Too bad the unveiling is out on the west coast - that's about as far away as posible for me.

Spill as much here as you can as it becomes available

They are -very- well done, but i find the "show one side of the face" poster/cover/etc already a bit overused.

Its sad to see ppl overusing stuff that used to be cool. Like matrix style movements.

Jamie: I agree on that front. The sketches and paintings were quick as hell, and they align well with the style of the book. The pages are fleshed out a lot better...but I can't really release more than I have at the moment. Things will be coming as I can...for the people that are actually interested (so, probably privately )
