i would choose number 1 without that black background, transparent is better. or you make two versions with the two colors of the forum.

Well, it looks cool, but it's so darn _obvious_ how he made it.

I've held off from posting to you about this steadily degrading attitude that has become more predominant the longer you've been here, but this was the proverbial straw. You're rude without cause, and without place to be so. Your false ego over what has been, some mediocre work at times, is just stunning. And your need to be praised borders on pathological.

Well, it's about time you stopped patting your back so hard. For a sixteen year old kid, you've got a hell of a lot to learn about basic human interaction, humility, and intelligence. A lot of what you need to learn, would be simple, if you took the time to listen as much as you do right now to mouth off about other's weaknesses, your strengths, and just generally begging for approval, by telling people how much you deserve it.

Well, this is the hopeful wake-up call. It got old...and I'm not the only person, or even a small minority, that thinks that, believe me.

In all honesty, I hope this helps....though I'm skeptical after all this time, and sort of expect petulant flames.

I guess I am, yes. I try to get as good as I can with photoshop. I think that turned out to be 'wanting to be _the_ best.' I guess that really came out on the 'firestarter' topic.

i am just a beginner in photoshop, so i yust played around a little bit with the filters. so as you 'obviously' can see i only used the wind filter from all sides and played with that hue/saturation. so that's it.

mahjqa: i think your sig looks pretty cool, and i know that it bears no relation to mine. but as GRUMBLE said: my one is 'nearly perfect'. so i try to work on it and create a better one.

Don't worry about my comment. It (your sig) is better than what I've started with. Y'know, playing around with filters is good, you can get lot's of nifty effects with them.

And, please don't be so humble.

Reve: I think the true point is not his comment.... it's about a series of comments and an overall state of mind.

I'm not going to get deep into this.... to tell you the truth, I haven't even read the Fire-starter thread that was mentioned. I read it at the very beginning... after 5 posts, I stopped going to it out of dis-interest.

i read thru that topic, and i didnt see anything bad... oh well

Back to the topic at hand. Excuse us for our inability to stick to a topic. We are all a little ADD in here.


I like both of them actually. They both need to be a lot smaller though. About half the size. Resize those puppies and sharpen them up a bit and they will be ready to go.

Also, you might want to do as uneek said and make that puppy transparent. The combined code of the two different oranges is #280404. Use that as your matte for your transparent gif.
