Before you ask for a review, I just read an interesting article that I would like you to check out.

It really covers everything you need to know about asking for a review, and what you're likely to get, how to get it, and how to make a review. Excellent resource.

Honestly, I think everyone should read this article. ::cough::

read that one a while back twItch^, I think Steve posted a link to digital-web somewheres. Anyhoo, that's where I learned that I give complete crap reviews (need to work on that or just not bother...). I figgered you'd like that article though, and you follow it pretty well, you do a pretty good service to people looking for a review really. Gotta wear your thick skin and objectivity if you put your wares up for review.

Yup that's a good reference, and I believe this is the "hangout" where one gets support and inspiration. I was just a little depressed about my limitations in the areas of computer art and reasonably-sized animations. My dreams are so much bigger than my abilities. But I haven't given up.

And really, I handle the criticism well. The worst hit I ever took was from a professional here, who used the words "never would hire you" quite eloquently and repetitiously. My response was, "I'll learn from kind-hearted folks like you." And I am learning from that person and others as well.

Quite cool, a well worthwhile article. I tracked her down to one of her other sites and dropped her a mail thanking her. (Also invited her to check out this place and the GN, heh.) Critiques are tough, but she pinned it down pretty well, I thought.
