Well, I'm working on a site...ReptileGirl.com. Please let me know what you think of the layout. I know it loads a little slow, I plan on optimizing a little more before full release. Any comments are welcome, just make them count

well, we're forego the commentary on how the phrase "reptile girl" scares me, or that you're located on a free server that has gunky stuff at the bottom.

:: I love the color scheme. It ooozes reptilian influence.
:: Lose the Times New Roman face on the content; switch to Helvetica, Verdana, or Arial.
:: Don't like the secondary text color (the one that says "If you would like to be notified when this page is updated, enter your email address below:") Icky. Go for a more deep-toned green or even bolded black. It all depends on how much emphasis you want on that particular spot. Think hierarchically.
:: Change the link colors : blue doesn't match with the rest of the feel.
:: Not sure what's going on with the buttons, honestly; they seem to have some sort of "wire" influence on the side, but that confuses me, a poor visitor to "reptile girl."
:: The lizard on the top/left corner is difficult to see...but you might be intending for that, so I won't chuck disapproval on that.
:: The "wooden" feel of the top bar is fab, works well with the green.
:: Put together at least one full drill-through for us to look at; the sub-pages should always be a little different, and I'd love to see them.

Thanks Twitch, that all helps tremendously. I did notice that most of your comments were directed toward the content part, which was just a copy and paste from the previous site, hence the wrong colors, etc... but I did get some good ideas from you for an update.

As for the Chemeleon in the corner, my PC's gamma sucks, it's way too dark so I couldn't tell until I got to work today and saw it on my PC here, you are absolutely right, too light. I think I'll take another pic.

• first things first interesting title for a site!!
• the graphic of the reptile is not to my liking, I would go with the colors of the reptile. deep green/brown/and what any other colors reptiles have
• be gone with the blue links, set up some css file where all [a] are one color!
• pick colors, and stick to them thur the whole site
• nice buttons

all in all it is good but just in my opinion needs small changes

No you aren't, for some reason they moved the link to forward.reptilegirl.com. I think that is because we changed the IP address of the host, and it is going to take a few days for the DNS to catch up (just guessing).
