spelling... "technolgy?"

right, might want to fix that on the front page.

spelling... "shrotly?"

right, might want to fix that on the services page.

"shrotly?" the portfolio page...

well at least your consistent with misspelling "shortly," that's something to be proud of.

the site loads slower than molasses for some reason, which is especially disturbing considering how little is actually there.

your splash page is very boring and i'd say pointless, but i realize you need a place to start off a pop-up window for your main site. if you're going to force people to look at a pretty much pointless splash page every time they go to your site, the least you could do is make it a little more interesting.

don't ask "how do i make it interesting?" that's your job to figure out, we just tell you when shit ain't workin or is lookin' bad, hehe it's a fun job.

the pop-up interface is boring and muted, work a little color into the buttons or border for highlights and contrast possibly. you should rock some mouse-overs for the buttons, a nice touch of color there would do okay. the spacing is kind of messed up in IE (and i'm scared to even load up NN to look) because there's black space on the top and the left of the console, but the right and bottom sides go right up against the window border.. and it looks bad.

i'm also scared to think how you're going to start showing off example web designs and graphics.. if you start loading lots of pop-ups from your pop-up.. oh boy.

oh yeah and it looks funky with those solid lines that appear when you click on the button, ditch 'em with an [[ onfocus="this.blur();" ]] deal.

Erm, I am afraid you won't like this one:

Why do you advertise that the page is best viewed in a certain resolution, and then have a pop-up that hangs in the top quater of the screen? You know, that really irritates the hell out of me, but now I can finally tell somebody about it...

otherwise quite easy on the eye - not very inspirational though, keeping in mind what you want to sell...

well these guys have a bitchin' pop-up that shows from a splash page... though their splash page ain't hot as death -- http://www.quannum.com/

i can't think of any other sites right now.. it's really limiting to put your whole page in a pop-up window, very rarely do you see it done.. at least by good designers.

That is *really* weird man. It says best viewed at 1024x768 with IE 4.xx?!?! The whole thing could be viewed in 640x480 and the only javascript is a window pop, well, I guess there's a style sheet too but with minimal effort this could be virtually the exact same web site but viewable on all browsers at all resolutions. It's like you're *trying* to alienate a certain amount viewers. Strange design practices to say the least and kinda plain in the end. Visually clean though.

JKMarbry, i still never finished it so there is gonna be a lot more java script added. I'm gona make image rollovers for the navigation buttons. And im gonna change the splash page. Although i have to make it small in size so i cant make it to exciting. Im gonna stick with the layout i have right now and see how things go. After some time i see that im not getting anywhere with this layout then i will change it. Im gonna make something with bright colors or sumtin like that. With all those dark colors on my site it kinda looks dull. Im also thinking about recruiting someone to work with me. I have learned from past experiences that it is very hard to make a succesfull website with out any help from any one else. I just hate to share the money(if any)with anyone but me and usually when co-workers find out how old I am they really dont want to work with me or even for me.

I would definately work on optimizing your images......for what little graphical content there is it took *forever* to load (keep in mind I'm talking about what you get for how long you wait). This is true of both the splash page and the pages within the pop-up. Almost all of your images would have been better as gifs -- little or no quality loss and a MUCH smaller file size.

Like everyone else has said.....1024x768 for a popup window that is 435x470???
am I missing something? While trying to promote your self as a webdesigner, it's not the best idea to advertise on your site that you are designing for a specific browser at a specific resolution -- particualry when it's not even true...........????

Okay, on top of that you say on your main page in the popup that you specialize in custom log design. I would spend a lot more time on your onw logo if you wnat to make that claim.

There's no need for the table on your splash page....and it deosn;t help the load time (doesn't *hurt* it much, but every little bit will help...).

So, if I were a potential client, this is about how it would go:

strike 1: took about 20 seconds to load the splash page.....which consisted of a single small jpg image to use as a link to the actual page. Ugh.

strike 2: the image that took so long to load is very unimpressive.

strike 3: it is stated that your site is "best viewed" (read as: "only works in") at a specific resolution on a specific browser.

I would have hit the back button by this point and never have even seen the pop-up.

The page as a whole was very unimpressive. We've already touched on optimizing your images, improving the splash and making your site viewable to ALL browsers and resolutions. No ones really commented on the interface much though. When you work through all of the spelling errors and load time, the site has lots of potential. You used a static image map for navigation . I would have used seperate .gifs and made them into roll overs. When coded right, rollovers work in both in IE and NN. A page this small is very inconvienent for a business site. It looks more like a personal site then a business site. Even the color scheme is pretty off for a business site. You'd probably be better off with a lighter, more cheerful color site, but thats your call. The only real way to work this site would be to add a dHTML scroller and Im not sure if you could really handle that. I think the site needs a lot more work ...
