This is a small web page I just finished for a local business. It doesn't have a lot of text, so I decided to put it all on a single page (for now anyway).

Comments please!?

Just one question... What does the KGB stand for?

Nice page. Simple and to the point. Although, powder blue doesn't really make me think tough.

The page looks good to me, and I think you were right to put it all on one page.
The text itself seems a little odd to me, but I guess you are not responsible for that. It took me a while to understand why I need to grease my hand to use the kgb

Good use of colours, and a nice page in general

Yes, the text definitely needs some work... it seems very odd to me too. I am showing the page to the client for the first time this week, so we'll see if we can improve it a bit. The product name is weird too. People interested in espionage might get themselves a couple of multipurpose cleaning products, hehe!

Howdy!
The site looks great!! Very professional. I have to agree with everyone else that the text if real funky sounding. It reads like English is a second language for the author. Otherwise, though, the site is very well done.

Ummmmm, on the other hand, I visited the 2nd Floor Computer Store site linked at the bottom of the page. I visited the "standard" site version and got a very ugly page. On my computer, the graphic topbar3.gif is repeating three extra times across the top of the page, causing the page to scroll horizontally and all the text to string out off the page. I didn't have time to look too closely at the code, but I am assuming that something is off about the nested content table. Maybe a tag was left unclosed or something. If I have more time, I'll weed through it a bit more. Just thought you might want to know ...

Hi Beekay, thanks for your comments! Well, this is the situation: I am the new designer for this company. I just made my first web site for them. For some strange reason, they seemed very proud of their previous designer, who's work you saw when you went to the company site. IMNHO, most of what that guy did sucked. Look at some of the sites in the portfolio, and you'll see what I mean. I am going to suggest a re-design of the company site, so I can do it (hopefully slightly less ugly than the current site, heh). A decent looking company site is kinda important, eh? Especially when a company is doing web site design....
