While starting the design for my new site, I pretty much threw away all my old techniques and started off fresh, as if I had never used photoshop before. I wanted to start a style of my own, and so far I have been successful. The site is not finished yet, but I have set up a page that will give a preview of the new look.

Also, with this new page, I will get keep you updated on how the site is coming along, along with still offer various stuff (tutorials and so on).

well, good usage of frames, first off. me loves the design. the colors are very complementary, and the flow is just to die for.

of course, there are always problems. your frameset doesn't fit in 800x600, and you've turned off scrollbars...which means if you ever have a lot of content in there, no one is going to be able to read it because they won't know it's there. might want to help that out a touch. i think that's all i will mention right now.

It's not bad...a little dismal for my tastes....don't you know that psychotic people love the use of vibrant colors?

Yeah, you should raise the contrast a bit on that text. You don't have to make it *white*, but closer than it is would be good.

And the biggest problem is that you can only see the whole thing on 1024 x 768 maximized... that cuts out a lot of people. Especially since the scroll bars don't work, no one can see anything if they don't have a high enough resolution. I'm not sure if you can easily fix this without a complete redesign...

Yup, I agree with all above comments. At home, which is where I am now, I have one of them thar 800x600 screens. Left half of screen is taken up by your graphic, and the other half has text running off the page. Thing that stuck me the most, though, was that there were no links to click on. I assume they are hiding somewhere off the right side of my screen, eh?

Also have a real hard time reading the text. I very much agree that the text needs lightened up quite a bit.

nice, very nice.
i wont bother commmenting on res stuff.
um, just one commment about your nav. i dont think that much of it. not cause it doesnt have spinning buttons or anything, it just seems that there is far more emphasis on your external links than your internal ones.
that, and little things like when you click 'home', you get taken to a page with a title 'news'. no big deal at all, ubt if you're planning on having more content, and more pages, maybe developing your nav could be an idea...
but all in all, i really like the site.

Well, I am pretty sure I already commented on the resolution issue, and am in the proccess of fixing it.

The reason for the navigation not being that great, is because the site is only temporary. It will only be there until the new design is complete. Also, the reason you are getting to the 'news' page when you click 'home' is because the news is the main page. I thought I made that clear by it being the first thing that comes up when you visit the site, but thats something else I will consider.

Thanks for the comments, I now know how to improve to make you people happy =)

yeah, i know the news is the home page, but that just means it lacks conformity.... it really is no big deal at all.
