Well! Not much JavaScript or DHTML or anything in it, but I remade my front page, I was getting sick of the slime convention.

It's fairly simple.

Hey man, I'm with you, I too am getting bored of all the flashy, gimmicky crap on the internet....I've ranted previously about this and I still feel that way. I enjoy beautifully designed static images far more than stuff that pukes all over my monitor....

Hah! Slimes actually don't have red blood. I'm not sure if they have any blood-like stuff at all, but I'm sure it's not red.

Anyway, how about some suggestions or review-like posts? =)

Slimes don't have red blood?... arrggg!

review-like posts?... hmm

Well... the big Slime is a bit pixelated... a little annoying..
I like the buttons for the otehr sections of the site.
I wish there were some sort of distuinguishing factor to your backround. You have this blue background... but it doesn't fade to the same color as the actual page. You can see the lines of the sections all too clearly. I'd go one way or the other with it...... either get that blue to blend better... or make it slightly worse and have the black border continue around the images completely for some definition.

~just a few thoughts~

hrmph... now I have to go back and fix my little cannon animation...

well, this article sums up quite nicely what i thought of the navigation.

aside from that, the body font looks like it was written in crayon. maybe it's me.

the colors are dandy. you've got a good deal of extra space on the sides, even at 800x600; i'd suggest beefing it up a bit...unless it's a blog, in which case i don't care.

whether we like it or not, comic sans is a Slime trademark now...

I dig it kinda, the pixelated Slime is a stinker but I like the nav alright, nothing mysterious about it at all for me, it has text right by the buttons eh?. I like the look.

I like it better than the Slimes page but that's just cuz it was getting old. But I can't complain I've never put together a coherent personal site much less a version 2...

I like the simplicity Slime and most of all the continuity you have throughout the site. This for me makes it easy to navigate and also better for concentrating on the content. I also like the colurs you have chosen. If anything I find the cyan text just a little bit too bright perhaps. I am either/or with the font... Comic Sans used to be my fav but I got bored with it quick!

I like the fade in nav bar... but am not too keen on the blurred text... always makes my eyes go funny.

All in all a healthy two thumbs up to ya mate!
