New iteration of Spell Casters Guild, taking into account some comments made here. Most of the pages have no content but everything should work as links and graphics have been checked in 4+ browsers and O5. Opera doesn't handle the Heirmenus. All feedback is appreciated!

Oh, I know about the broken or corrupted image at the bottom of the index page. Nothing wrong with it locally but, when I uploaded it (twice) it doesn't display for some reason.

firstly.. the new version is definately an improvement over the original.. shows much more maturity in design imho

the only thing I dont like particularly is the contrast between the background and the plain gray.... it just seems so harsh... but again that is only a personal opinion... nice work Allewyn!

Yep, the new site is much better methinks. Although, you left out the pictures of Alyssa Milano. BAD BOY!

You might try tracing the wizard with some paths to get him lookin a little spiffier. Like this guy.

I must agree with ~vp~ and Krets Allewyn, you've made a nice job of the new site. Also like ~vp~, I have trouble with the bg and the plain grey. Why not use a couple of variants of grey and run the clouds filter on it, then use that as your bg image. It would give that smoky, spellmaking theme associated with wizardry......just a thought.

Thanks for the review guys, I 'preciate it. Nobody had problems except for the background? Wow. I did better than I thought!

vp, and phil: Gonna try that cluds treatment on a lighter gray and see how that comes out. I have some trouble with getting backgrounds to tile properly and the noise filter seems to create uniformity. Time to step up huh?

krets: MM is my favorite too. I left the pics out for load speed but maybe I can add them back in. Anybody notice any load time issues? Gonna go look at "this guy" now.

That Amish guy looks like Abe Lincoln ready to fight! LOL! By paths, do you mean more rounded features? And can I do that in PS4?

A less-harsh attempt at the background is up using difference-clouds and Doc's tut. Not sure what to do with nested table because NN repeats the pattern for each cell and the tiling is way too obvious! Or is it just because I'm calling the background image with the style sheet?

: you really need help with the layout. Things just seem to be randomly scattered. Create an organized navigation system.
: the page background texture is ugly and annoying, I would just replace it with a solid color.
: If you plan on keeping a background, change it, and add a border around the gray area.
: also, your logo doesn't fit with your site at all. The colors are just completely random and it sticks out like a sore thumb.
: things don't line up properly. I assume you had planned on centering the bottom info. Well, it's not.
: replace your header images. They look like micr$loth word art, and take forever to load.
