Doh! Oh, that diagnosis was supposed to be reserved for Mikey Milker, I don't know why that popped up here, how *awful*! Poor 911 has probably stalked off muttering "I've never been so insulted in my life!" It's gone now, but for those who mised it, new user 911 was assigned the custom diagnosis designed for Mikey of "Pretentious Asshole", just the welcome and affirmation every new patient needs! =) Sorry 911, you're safely Neurotic again.

Hmm yeah, I'll have to agree with the excessive use of white on the site, so much space between elements and the pictures of products so tiny! I might think about providing a background treatment, maybe a super pale grey bar, under the ad banners and sidebar elements on the right, that way when you scroll past the top the page won't look so barren. Be subtle, but fill it out just a bit and frame the content area.

The "mehr Info" link is only the little orange arrow, maybe include the text too? It was hard to click on that itty-bitty link. I would put most of my effort into the product display itself, and tighten them up so the listing is more compact, too much space between each individual product.

The order page looked pretty good, the bold orange for the required elements worked quite well, instantly understandable.

PHP huh? It's fast as hell! There are firms that will run stress tests on sites like this, simulating many thousands of simultaneous users, I usually like to pay for the information, speed on these pages is vital, especially when you start getting traffic bigtime!

Hmm, the menu for products, it kind of bummed me out that after I follow a link, all of the top-level choices went away, I tended to use the "back" button a lot to get all the choices again, I don't like that. Still, good work overall, I like it, but would still like to see some development on the look.

nice, i like it.
i have one major problem though - i maximised it on 1024 x768, and ICK! those stripes down the side, the orangey things! hate 'em!
then, maximised on 800 x 600, and it had a *gasp* horizontal scroll bar... might wanna look at that..
they are my main faults with the site...

Now *that* would be a good hack, Boudga, I could set it so that everyone with just 1 post gets this special title for the duration, let them revert to Neurotic after they post one more time. Might help weed out those not strong enough to take the critiques!

Does sound like a good hack Doc, although I think you should be labeled a "Pretentious Asshole" for at least 5 posts.

On to the review:

For some odd reasons 911, none of your letters make any sense. I can't seem to describe it. It's like in a totally different language. I'd have a look at that if I was you

Seriously though, you might want to move every thing down a bit. It starts up rather high and is somewhat annoying. Try making the text links bold, see if that adds a better effect to the page. Use a rollover and turn the arrow picture another color also. Your "herzlich willcommen bei" logo in the home page looks kinda bad. Try another attempt at the computer, or use a computer from your inventory.

Your actually gonna try selling a P1?
Geez, I wasn't aware they still made them ...

Sorry, but my English is really not perfect and i know that. I´m working on it.

It´s a shop for used it-equipment and it´s no problem to sell a used P1. ;-)

I happen to know of a lot of folks that use p1's still....for instance they are great for ham operators to run their cheesy software on...my wife runs medisoft for DOS on a P1...there are still a lot of applications for p1's when you consider it.
