i dont like pop-up windows. tripod *** (why are you linking to tripod anyways? your front page seems to load just fine on cjb). you have unnecessary horizontal scrolling on the front page.

i dont know if its just my computer or what, but every dhtml scroller (including yours) moves obscenely fast. i watch everything whiz by as it scrolls down...

i dont like the scrolling arrows. it took me a few moments just to find them. they dont stand out enough (maybe the darkest red you are using would be a better color choice?). i dont like the fact that its on the left side of the screen -- most users are used to scrolling (scroll bars) on the right side.

you have white text on that very pale grey background which is very difficult to read (in the news section).

it might be a mistake, but your "contact" button points to your news section.

default colored links??? so much artistry and attention to detail was put into the site, only to be marred by default colored links.

i usually dont nitpick over alt tags, but they *need* to appear on navigation buttons. some people might find your font for the text difficult to read, and the alt tags might help some (adding the window status bar to your pop-up window would be nice too...).

many people have javascript disabled (to avoid banner adds).. your link into your site (pop-up window) is not backwards compatable.

another nitpick: your border on each page is a different size.. just slightly. for the text along the top of the frame, i personally would have them all line up on the right side.

on my 56k modem it took forever to load (well, almost, at least)

My first thought is that you have complicated it too much - gone too far. I can see that you are good with using photoshop, but in some ways it feels you have overdone it a bit. Like that graphic to the left on the gallery page. What is it supposed to be? Just look rather ugly to me - like a big mess in my opinion.
You don't need to use every skill in photoshop on every picture you make. Simpify things. The real skill is to keep things seemingly easy.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have the scrollers closer to the menu in a design like this? Oh, and I don't care much for the splash page.

The coding seems solid, and it is working without problems for me (IE5.5). The contact link goes to the news page...

The page does show talent though

well I disagree with Zox.. lol. well about the graphics (no offense Zox ; ) I like your graphic style, amd its good imho to see 'red' used so well.... its not an easy colour to work woth and I think you have pulled it off well..

things I didnt like were the loading bar?.. when your pop-up came up, it still had to load alot of images, so I think either it isnt working correctly, or my browser isnt (NN4.76). Also your right hand menu extended below the bottom of the pop up so I couldnt see what if anything was below?.. (1024x768)

your scroller worked well for me and like I said b4 I like your graphic style... not sure if even using a pop-up is worth it for your site?.. maybe?..maybe not......

original work and for me I like it... and I will agree with Zox that you show promise

no offense taken vp <g>

I guess my taste is just too simple to fully appreciate this. (I'm the sort of person who likes Renoir better than De Kooning, who things natural is better than artificial)

Or maybe I am just jealous because I wouldn't be able to do something like that myself

Personally, I'm not a very big fan of web sites that use fixed width popup windows...

I've found and interesting bug in your popup window scroll script.... IE5.5 sticks and flickers if you position your mouse just right in between the up arrow and the down arrow....don't ask me how to fix it...

oh come now...declare a box in stylesheets...

#box {
width : 100px;
height : 200px;
overflow : auto; /* creates scrollbars if gets taller than 200px or wider than 100px */
}

...and avoid the iFrame headache.
