I spent some time last night working on making the network of my personal pages a bit more userfriendly.

Any comments on any of the stuff in there would be appreciated. However, I am wondering more about the javascript I employed in the Java Section, as well as how you fell about the usablity of the main page. Everything else has been seen and critiqued before, I believe.

Any comments would be good, as caustic as you like, as long as it stays constructive. I know the drill you know the drill, help me out a bit folks. Thanks.

Oooookay...

First off, the two menuing systems make it confusing to the user. One of them is superfluous. Pick one, stick with it.

Second, you've got two colors (three if you count black + white as two colors) and that's not interesting to the eye. Like, at all.

There's so little for me to comment on... I want to give you more, but you gotta give me more first.

As I've said before, I don't like B&W...

Warmage,

there are a lot of exciting things that can be done with b&w if you choose to.

right now i have a gradient that i am experimenting with at: http://home.computer.net/~barlowh/graphics.htm

b&w is great because it is a 'color' continuum that when chosen can result in very elegant results.

i am not saying my gradient works but i am exploring its use.

i am not sure the b/w on the gurus net works either...a bit flat in my opinion...

but the continuum is obviously unexplored on web pages, at least to any great extent.

enjoy
