Preserved Topic: I hate My Sig. Need Ideas. (Page 1 of 1)

This is a sad day in life, I need ideas for my own sig. wow, this is sad. Here is what I currently have :


I dont know, Lately I have been lacking inspiration. Anybody wanna share ideas?

threep wonders whether he should even bother commenting, but seeing as the fact that he has nothign useful to say has never stoped him before, he starts rambling.
"skatefx - a sig is your signature. what do you like? what don't you like? what two colors describe you best? if you were an object, what would you be? try this with me - for a small moment, take your eyes off your monitor - believe me, it can be done, i managed to do so in the summer of '94 - and look at what is around it. if there's a pear, do a picture of a pear, and put your name on it. if there is an apple, do an apple, and have your name on the sticker of the apple. or, if you can't look away from your pc, imitate the 'intel' logo, but have your name. is there a clock? replace the numbers 1-12 with 's', 'k', 'a'.... is there a coffee stain on your desk? some cigarette ash? try and mould these into your name. a coffee cup, perhaps? a mousepad? a spoon with crusty bits of yoghurt on it, that you know that you're gonna use again today, and not bother cleaning? (maybe the last one is just me.) a bunch of paperclips?"
wondering if he has said enough, threep concludes:
"basically, i suggest you try and find inspiration in the ordinary. they often make for the best sigs, IMO. good luck."

Well, seeing as your name is Skatefx, I think a skateboard with your sig on the underside.

Get your favorite board design and imitate it and put your name in there somewhere. Shouldn't be too hard.

Skatefx I would try going with the "- Skatefx -" aproach. When all else fails, try the painfully stupid obvious signature. ( Or something like that. )

Yea, a killer jet powered cyber board doing a rail slide down a razorblade, sparks flying...

Or what 3p said.

Or just doodle til something digs it`s way out of your subconcious.

Or pick something you dislike and make fun of it.

Thanks guys. I have been wanting to do something with a skateboard in my sig for a while. Its just at this point i lack the necassary skills. I am kind of a *newbie*. But I should not let that stop me. I am gonna make some kinda effort to do this. And when (if ever) it is done i'll let everyone know. Thanks Guys.
