.

.

actually it had the smaller version initially........

then I went on a mas post editing session yesterday and forgot to simply delete this one. I posted both the large and the small initially. The entire thing was made because I decided to make some chain links in PS and I went from there, the center graphic is my logo that I re-used off another project. Since the lighting source is a bit different in the other image I had to throw a glow down so it wouldnt look too off. The chain was origionally going to be copper/tarnished but I kept the tarnish and added rust even though Fe0 will not grow on copper.

Well... it looks funny because the ends don't go anywhere... not much you can do about that.

Is that gem supposed to be glowing... or reflecting light?... you need to decide that.
The chain itself needs some some work.
It's all dis-coloured... for no apparent reason that I can see.
Yes, it should be shaded... but still.... it looks wrong.

To go along with deciding whether or not the gem is glowing or reflecting..... (depending on which).. the chain needs to adhere to the same concept.
If it is glowing... then the chain needs to be lightened around the gem...
If there is an actual light source... the chain should indicate it as well.

Furthermore... As far as being a "sig".. I'm a bit confused....

Yes, I see the 'M'... but it just doesn't cut it for me.
Personal opinions of course. It could be that I'm just so used to seeing someone's whole name there.

Well, aside from being FREAKIN HUGE, at 800x600 it fits nicely on the sides of the forum. At larger resolutions, it just kinda hangs there.

I`m with taxon on the light source thing ( ?? )

That green rust on the chain makes me think copper or brass, but the other colors don`t jibe.

Cool rocky/glossy/gem-texture thing, but if I didn`t know your name, I wouldn`t have a clue.

Well, besides being unbelievably big for a sig, I like the pic. The green stuff reminds me more of the moss and other "shrubbery" that grows on chains and almost anything else.

I'm guessing the center piece is reflecting light since that's what the shadow would suggest.

It's a real nice pic, but I don't think it's a good sig.
