what about a border or transparencies?

because right now it's a square block with no edge that doesn't fit with anything. if it had a border, it would be contained. if it had a transparent background, it wouldn't need to be.

For the background, but border was also suggested. I think a dark green border might fly.

When we say transparency, in regard to a sig, we don't mean random transparency - we mean to make it fit along with the almost black background, through the use of transparency. Like he said, it's a box right now, it has nothing to do with the rest of the forum, and the image just abruptly ends at its edges. Transparency or a border can make that look better.
