i was messing around the other day with my new image and text editor i founf on the web....not that i'm changing my sig..but i figure i would mess around with some of doc's tuts and see what i could do with layers and backdrops..not bad eh? BTW i know (R,40 G,4 B,4) is for the background, but what is it for the text on the forum?

ok this one is using (R,40 G,4 B,4) again im just fooling around, i dont want to change my sig. though this might look cool being transparent......

threep, following his own advice, says to dark:
"if you view the source code for any page, you will find out that:
*the text is #FC6203
*the body background is #0C1628
*one cell background is #320808
*the other is #240000
*another colour in there is #993300 - i believe this is the cell border....

i like the second one. it projects Darkness better
i couldn't decide where the light originates that lights the front of the letters, but imho, it works...

less "dark" projected in the first one where the letters give off a blue glow ...

Dark...... you just need to post your own work.......be it art or writtings. Stop opening a topic and when someone post something you don't like....don't delete that topic and start over.

what the hell are you all talking about? the fac that i was messing around with layer and backdrops has little to do with the image...when i made the image with the program. it looked screwed up, therefore i had to fix it......i told you from the beginnning that i used a program to create it. for that matter all you fuckers use some sort of program PSP or PS to create your images..are you saying it is possible to hand draw someting like that? go take a flying leap guys
