Preserved Topic: Things about the board (Page 1 of 1)

Since I was not here for quite a long time, I have some questions. First of all I always get all messages shown as NEW (read folder). When I used to be here in the past it worked fine that the already read topics and the topics that had been postet before my last vist where marked yellow. I am using IE6. Could it be a prob of the IE6? I tried different cookie settings, but nothing worked so far..

Every time someone posts a new reply into any topic it turns red indicating a new post or reply. so mabye people are just posting into the topic that you read, but after you read it.... "just my cent and a half, i lost the other half"

and btw synthetic, I'm saving up to buy my vote back from you....errrrrrrr........

There is some differences in how the cookies are stored in IE6, I've noticed the same difficulties. It used to be that the cookie set at http://www.ozoneasylum.com/ and http://www.ozoneasylum.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi would be treated the same, but IE6 seems to consider them different. I don't have a solution for this, the main index just uses an SSI exec include of the /cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi page, it *should* work fine, it used to! I just altered my bookmark links to point to the full adress and the cookies work as they should in IE6 now.

Cewlness, seems to work fine. At least I got yellow folders now again. Hopefully they do not remain yelow all the time now hehe

Yah, it should work now. I think the easiest way to fix this problem would be to simply finish that front door "lobby" thing mentioned in another post, then you know you'd be in the right place, hopefully!

That reminds me.. When a topic gets closed, I noticed that the little 'thread closed' image is still the default UBB image. Its nothing that's dysfunctional... its just ugly. Fix?
