I like it a lot too, but I do not like the inner glow in the disk, if you just made it all the same color it would be really nice.

My version of a scimitar, with drow in mind. Think I'll do another entry for this contest, never done weapons in PS before - good theme

Only criticism I might have is the wood grain - seeing as it's a stick (as opposed to a piece cut from a board) the wood grain would bend and twist with the curves of the stick.

If you could make it do that, I'd be willing to say you might have a winner =)
