Man, this lost all sorts of details when I shrunk and made it transparent. Spent so much time over lapping the links in the chain and now you can't even notice it... *sigh* Not happy with the clasp so didn't add it yet either but will work on it... |

EzRa-D, unless our host decides differently, there is no limit to the amount of sigs one can enter. Must say you've done a pretty good job on the ring, there. Some things you could try are changing the highlights of the gem to color dodge or another blending mode. |

Mahj - j/k sorry, ill try to keep my posts more constructive. i took your advice and changed the highlight layer blending to Overlay (tried color dodge and it didnt change much) and that seems to work much better what do you guys think? |
Maniac (V) Inmate From: Cell 666 |
posted 01-03-2003 05:33
That's because the highlights are sticking out whereas the darker parts are blending in with the drop shadow. I should fix that. |

very cool suho - the text does look a little wrong... the only advice i have is that although the text shoudl be distorted along the x axis (the imaginary straight line underlining the text should now be "u" shapes), the y axis should suffer very little distortion (if it were arial, then the letter "I" should still be pretty much straight up and down). |
Maniac (V) Inmate From: Seoul, Korea |

A hue of 45 makes a pretty good gold. I usually give it a stauration of 50 and lightness of 0 when I'm doing an adjustment layer. |

Suho: If you're any good at mixing colors (magenta, cyan, and the like), you may want to take a look at Image -> Adjust -> Variations. It's a bit more intuitive than sliders (in my opinion). |

Chudzta, I modeled it after those tongue rings that have a little plastic window on the front, which usually sport some kind of message or picture (like a peace sign or whatever). That basically gave me an excuse to have my name on it, hence, making it a sig. The glow is to indicate that it is plastic, and not some ambiguous dark spot on the metal. |
