Just becouse i was wondering how do you type diagonal?
like this:

you can do it by rasterizing the text and then using the magic wand or whatever and moving it any ideas?

In PSCS this is pieace of cake... But I don't know if earlier versions has this feature!!?


 

just hitting 'enter' between each letter should work in older versions...

yea i tryed that earlyer but for some reason it wasnt working

If you want to have a text in diagonal, you can write your text horizontally, then go in the Edit > Transform > Rotate menu and voilà.
If you want to have a text in vertical, the thing seen in OlssonE's pic is available in PS7.0 ( and I'm almost sure it already was in the 6.0 ). Otherwise you must press [RETURN] ( and not [ENTER] 'cause that key means End Of Text in PS ) to insert a Cariage Return after each character.

so what are you using???

If its PS then just use the text tool and play around with the settings. It will work.

Poi... Enter works for me, always has. I dont believe I have a return button, didnt think there was a difference between it and enter?

eyezaer: RETURN is the key with a weird shape, between BackSpace and the right Shift.

ah. My keyboard is special then. . none of those funny shaped keys!

Some keybaords are that way, some are not....


Now, if you want the letters to step down diagonally, then yeah - all you have to do is what you tried to do in your first post - hit enter, hit the space bar. End of story.

If you want it rotated diagonally, just use the transform tool to rotate it...
