I used a pc somewhere else....wrote three documents....there were at that point about 10 on the disk...opened it now and there are 4 left.

does someone know how i could get my documents back?
or what could have happened?

what did you exactly do? what do you mean by "used a pc somewhere else" ... did you save the documents to another computer? maybe just saved to a different directory? try find
maybe they are hidden?

no a transported my disct to a other PC built it in there took it back out put it in my pc at home and the files where gone .... sorry expressed myself verry badly ..

so i needed to work at a friend so we desided to take my harddiskt out of my pc and put it in to his Pc. so after reinstaling it to my pc some files had gone ... does someone know what has happened or how i can get my data back???

I agree with InI. If they were saved, and it looks like they were, and if you can't find them in your PC, they have to be in the other computer. You have just messed up folders.

Something similar happened to me a few weeks back. I was happily playing a game of Half-Life but as I left the game I saw before my very own eyes one by one all my games in me game folder disappear... Red Alert2, Tiberian Sun, Starcraft all my saves GONE!!!!
