Since you've been dismissed on these charges, (and arrested on these charges) are they considered false charges (or a false arrest?). I think a civil suit is without question due. Time for those scumbags to pay up.

Those articles posted above still make it look like there is still some fault on your part.
I don't see an ounce of blame on your side. What a douche to say "an alleged cyber crime like this is a new area of law, and the judge may be unfamiliar with it." That's like a slap to the judges face. If you go to civil court and beat him then I hope you turn around and sue his ass. Being that you have a strong income based upon the hardware he took and that those things lost value when he took them away you deserve something.

Ohh yeah I would also like to add... I think the new site SUCKS, but that's probably obvious.

Just my 0.02? on what I'd like to see in the next episodes :

  • the Macomb Sheriff ( or county I don't know exactly ) refunds Pugzly for his attorney's fees + the loss of incomes due to the suspicion of felony during that affair.
  • They also refund Pugzly for the hosting, development and maintenace fees of their site during years.
  • Once the two previous conditions are fulfilled, Pugzly sells them the old domain name for a symbolic amount.
  • Happy end.

Some of the links really do work! And also, this site has made me re-evaluate my stance against FrontPage. I used to feel that the world would be a better place if FrontPage ceased to exist, but seeing that this site was made with Frontpage made me realize that some organizations deserve to have their pages built with such a fine tool....

Well the site...

I suck at web design compared to most around here and can do a lot better than that. It has no pizzaz. The background is too complicated, the fonts need to be sans serifs. (I think they are easier to read.) It's clear that the images weren't made for the background on the page. When you click a link on the site you are taken from the main page and go to the content page. This is a mistake, in my opinion each page should look the same with only the content part of it changing. Easy to do with very limited knowledge of ASP or PHP or even SSI. I did like the news scroller, but the border kind of sucked.

Actually, I'll answer that. It's because I'm taking the high road. I consider myself a professional, working towards a resolution to this issue. Unlike the prosecution, you won't see me showing up in the papers slamming the other side, or using other tactics in an effort to scare or intimidate the other side.

I remain confident that a resolution can be reached in this matter, and thank the MANY people who have sent words of encouragement, donations to the legal defense fund, and have assisted in spreading the word.

I would also invite anyone who is interested in learning more about this case visit the Justice4Pat.com site. This site, setup by some of my supporters, is getting the 'real' word out about what's happening, as well as how you can help.

Thanks!
