Hurray! Congratulations to you and all who were involved in your defense. It's good to know that the justice system works correctly sometimes.

I hope you get all your stuff back soon and that your life returns to whatever constitutes "normal" for you.

congrats Pugz. I've been following this pretty closely and I'm happy by this news. I hope they don't want to drag in out through an appeal. But justice still really has not been served: Pat still hasn't got his payment yet.

Since you've been dismissed on these charges, (and arrested on these charges) are they considered false charges (or a false arrest?). I think a civil suit is without question due. Time for those scumbags to pay up.

p.s.
Emp, you mispelled details on j4p.

Sorry, but this had me in tears

quote:
"(The new Web site) is as good if not better than the one he had," Hackel said. "He had a lot of bells and whistles, and sometimes it was hard to find your way around it. It (the new site) is less of a broad spectrum. It's more in tune with what is going on in Macomb County, the issues in Macomb County and what's going on in our department."

I would like to reinterate ot the world that their new website is a steaming pile of crap. I've been to the old macombsheriff site, and it no time was it 'hard to find your way aorund it'. It was a magnificent piece of work to which their 'new and improved' site cannot even begin to measure up to.

But that's just my opinion

Hmm... by those articles, it doesn't sound as if this is all over yet... It's a huge milestone, but I hate it for you if they appeal the decision and try to drag this out...

Here's some continued thoughts of good luck. I sure hope this all becomes but a bad memory very very soon...

Despite the ruling, the case and conflict between Richard and the sheriff's office likely is not over.

Nope. It doesn't look like its over. The dirtbags are going to drag this out and try to gain the sympathy of a jury. What a shame. *shakes head* What a shame.

And than after that hearing if Pug wins, than I'm sure their might be a civil case. At least thats what seems to be on the horizon. Whatever happens, good luck pugz. I know how these things can be a real heartache. (Sued a old landlord and won and even that was a heartache).

However the fact that you won this battle, gives you more advantage for whatevers next.
