Now that just plain kicks ass.

It's all CSS. And it wouldn't take too much effort to make it valid HTML 4

I've always thought that there is nothing that flash does that can't be done with JS, after all, it'a a bunch of jpg's as frames that get showed/hidden/moved according to some code, flash I mean.
So what i wonder is why has no software company produce a tool like flash, where you can draw/animate stuff and it would cut up your images and generate the JS/html code ?
hand coding something like that panda brings more control but must be really time-consuming.
And JS is available in most browsers without any plugin...

Curiously yours, crip

edit: LOL, actualy it's all done with 30-something lines of code ))

I know this isn't Flash to JS converstion but there is a Powerpoint to JS program called impatica. And if you think about it all PowerPoint does is take images and hides them in layers and then displays and shows as needed. So the idea is out there and definately works. I think the whole question would be, would it be efficient? Also note that ActionScript is a heck of alot like JavaScript.

VERY clever. I like how it's mouth is on it's stomach but still works well!

I updated mine. Not too much changed, but now it is easy to embed into an HTML page safely. I might do something with it sometime, I think.

We have done so.

Combining SVG with JS would allow for nearly anything that you can do in Flash, however.

Precisely. But that's another feature of Flash that comes across, right? XD
