Sometimes when you move a layer with mask the layer moves with the mask. But sometimes when I move a layer the mask stays fixed and only the content is moved. This results in masking other areas. How can I control the mask attachment? |

And? Just because I don't want (desoite the fact that I don't know where to look for it) to read the fuc manual, I can't ask here or what. |

quote: Yep. Because if you took 10 seconds to go in Photoshop, type F1, click on Search, and enter "layer mask", you'd have found the answer at the 9th item in the result. |

Note to poi: a functional community relies on people like you who take the time to answer thoroughly and thoughtfully even though it's frustrating sometimes, I'll bet you there are readers who (although they didn't ask the question themselves) never even knew you could separate a mask from its layer and consequently learned something useful. |

Hmm I think I know i.e is if I understood the question properly. You want a hole in a circle... well if you want to make it using the pathfinder, if you've used illustrator before you won't be new to this stuff. |

Thanks! I am not doing it in Illustrator because only have the trial version and I would have to do some training with it. Thank you! Your help has been exactly what I needed. |
