Since posting I've figured out a few things. Its my case's fan which is the noisy begger, the case and power supply cost 40 euros. I think I know where they cut the costs, the cpu fan is goin a bit too fast as the heat distribution isnt great inside. |

No, the laws of physics say, that metal tends to channel the frequencies away...I said depending on the material(s)! So, if there is metal in the walls (electrical wire, reinforcement, etc) they will have an effect. Have enough metal, and yes, it will be impossible. But that is besides the point - with the doors open, you have 40% signal strength? Sounds like the walls are damping the signal strength. That is normal, in my experience. Oh, and placing the Router high up, as close to the Ceiling as possible, will help, as well...as does turning the ears this way and that. |

If your PSU is causing all th noise, as they often do! then you may find one of these usefull. |
